My past was filled with misery and struggles. During my childhood, I never really had a stable home life. My parents were constantly quarreling, and eventually, they divorced when I was just a adolescent. I was required to bounce around between different family members’ houses, never really feeling like I fit in.

Despite all challenges I faced, I always found solace in video games. They provided me with an means of escape from the chaos of my real life and allowed me to lose myself in fantasy worlds. I spent countless hours playing games, becoming more and more skilled as time went on.

And then, one day, something changed changed my life for good. I was enjoying a game online with a few friends when I was suddenly separated from the server. At first, I assumed it was just a glitch, but as it turned out, my internet service had been terminated due to an outstanding bill that my mom and dad had neglected to pay.
